X-Axis Guide Rod / Pillow Block Removal

Tools and Materials Required
• Set of basic service tools.

• Remove Y bridge. (See

1.
Loosen and remove X-axis guide rod mounting screws (18 for each rod - 3/32-inch hex
key).
2.
Remove the guide rods and support rails from system.

There are a total of 21 screws in the X-axis guide rod assembly - only
18 need to be removed to allow the X guide rod assembly to be
removed from the system. The center screw and the two screws in
the third position from each end are shorter screws that hold the
guide rod to the rail - they do not need to be removed.
