X and Y Bellow Installation
Tools and Materials Required
• 11/32-inch wrench
Procedure
1.
Install the bellows into XY gantry. Align the holes in bellows end brackets with gantry
mounting studs.
2.
Install and tighten the retaining nuts.
Caution: Applying too much torque to the bellows retaining nuts
will cause the gantry mounting studs to break.
3.
Place the head in the operating position if necessary. (See
Position" on page
4.
Manually push the XY gantry through the full travel of the X and Y movement to check
for binding.
