Platen Vacuum Screen

Vacuum Screen Removal

Tools and Materials Required
• Small standard screwdriver
Procedure
1.
Use a small screwdriver to pry the retaining ring out of the platen. Discard the retaining
ring.
2.
Remove the screen.

Vacuum Screen Installation

Tools and Materials Required
• 11/16-inch socket
Procedure
1.
Insert an undamaged screen into position in the platen.
2.
Place the retaining ring into the platen with the concave side up.

Use a socket to push the retaining ring into the platen. Make sure the retaining ring is
secure in the platen.

Use care not to damage the platen during removal of the retaining
