Z Guide Rod/Pillow Block Installation

Tools and Materials Required
• 9/64-inch hex key
• 3/16-inch hex key
• 5/32-inch hex key
• Krytox grease
Procedure
Caution: Do not remove plastic plug from the pillow block/bearing
assembly. It is used to retain the bearing rollers.
If a guide rod is replaced, the pillow blocks must be replaced as
well. Pillow blocks may be replaced individually.

Install the pillow block/bearing assemblies onto the guide rods.
