Tip Sensor/Cable Installation

Tools and Materials Required
• 5/32-inch hex key
Procedure
1.
If installation of the wire harness is necessary, install the harness:

Remove the right side covers. (See
Loosen the two screws that hold the cable clamp to the platen rail
(accessed from the back of the system).
Lift up the cable clamp and feed the tip sensor cable out the right
side of the oven compartment.
Disconnect the tip sensor cable from the MIO board.
Connect the tip sensor cable to the MIO Board.
Route the tip sensor cable through the side of the oven
compartment down the Z stage support arm.
Feed the tip sensor cable under the cable clamp.
Caution: Use care when tightening cable clamp. Do not pinch the
tip sensor cable between the clamp and the system frame.
