1.
Re-send same part - temporary network issues can prevent a successful job download.
2.
Verify that the unit is on and that the computer has booted completely.
3.
Make sure that the part file has been processed for the system type being used.
4.
Verify that the network parameters and modeler type are correctly entered for the
modeler being used in Insight's Status application.
5.
Check for IP address conflict - 'Ping' the system from the workstation command prompt.
If you get a reply, unplug the system and 'ping' it again. If there is a
reply, another system is using the IP address. Contact the site's IT
personnel to resolve the conflict.
6.
Check network cable connections to both the system and from the computer to the block
connector inside the back of the system.
7.
Verify with the site's IT personnel that the IP, Subnet, and Gateway parameters are
correct.
8.
Verify that the link LED on computer's network board is illuminated.
9.
Eliminate possible site network problems by using a laptop computer or workstation
connected directly to the system with a crossover network cable.
10.
Verify that the network board is properly seated inside the computer.
11.
Replace the network board or the computer.
