Z Zero Calibrations

The Z Zero calibrations are used by the machine to reference the location of the build sheet
compared to the model tip in the Z axis. If positioned at Z Zero, the end of the model tip
should be at the top of the build sheet. The Z zero value is critical to ensure the first layer of a
build adheres properly to the build sheet.

Manual Z Zero Calibration

The Manual Z Zero Calibration is used to establish an approximate Z Zero location which
will allow the Auto Z Zero calibration to complete successfully. During the Manual Z Zero
Calibration the operator manually positions the Z Stage at the desired Z Zero position and
captures the position. The Manual Z Zero Calibration is typically performed if an Auto Z
Zero Calibration fails.
