This message appears when head fails to unplug itself (motor is
stalled with excessive 'following error').
To determine model or support, press Resume and check which
head is heating to build temperature. Press Pause.
Try purging filament using the Load command. If successful,
Resume job and replace tip and/ or canister after job is complete.
If the Load is not successful, check for spinout on filament. (See
"Operation: Failure" on page
If the plug can be cleaned out successfully without removing tip,
Resume Job and replace tip and/or canister after complete.
Verify that the canister is not jammed. Remove the canister and try
pulling material from canister. Ensure filament pulls out freely.
Check part and .cmb file for overfill. Overfill is usually due to part
curl or an Insight .cmb file issue.
Check if tip is plugged by poor calibration (cannot calibrate
without losing job).
If failure repeats on a subsequent job after tip is replaced, and
there is good calibration, good canister load time and no overfill,
then replace head.
This message appears when one of the filament drive switches
becomes open.
To determine model or support, press Resume and check which
head is heating to build temperature.
Press Pause. The failed canister will have a solid green or flashing
red LED.
Verify that the canister is not jammed. Remove the canister and try
pulling material from canister. Ensure filament pulls out freely.
Check for bad connection to cassette board.
Check LEDs on cassette board - should be 'On'.
Check for filament dust in canister drive block.
This message appears when one of the head switches becomes open
during building.
