Filament Dryer Air Pressure and Air Flow

Tools and Materials Required
• Set of basic service tools
Prerequisite Procedures
1.
System must be on.
2.
Open/remove the lower left door/panel.
Procedure
1.
Check the air pressure.
• Air pressure gauge is located behind the right hand canister bay door.
• For systems with Twin Tower dryer, air pressure must be 52 - 56 psi.
• For systems with Puregas dryer, air pressure must be 36 - 40 psi.
2.
Adjust the air pressure to meet requirements.

For systems with Twin Tower dryer:
a.
Loosen the adjustment locknut (7/16-inch open end wrench).
b.
Turn the adjustment screw to set the air pressure as required.
c.
Tighten the locknut.
d.
Re-check the air pressure, adjust again if necessary.
For systems with Puregas dryer:
a.
Turn the adjustment knob to set the air pressure as required.
b.
Re-check the air pressure, adjust again if necessary.
