Tip Sensor/Cable Removal

Tools and Materials Required
• 7/64-inch hex key
• 5/32-inch hex key
Procedure
Access the tip sensor through the front door of the system.
1.
Position the Z stage to the approximate mid-travel position.
2.
Power down the system. (See

Remove the two tip sensor mount screws from the right underside of the platen (5/32-
inch hex key).
4.
Remove the terminal contact screw (7/64-inch hex key) that attaches the tip sensor cable
to the sensor.
