Component Adjustment

Tip Wipe Height Adjustment

An improperly adjusted tip wipe height can cause decreased tip life,
premature wear of the tip shield, and part quality degradation issues.
Tools and Materials Required
• Set of basic service tools
Prerequisite Procedures
1.
Lower the Z stage to the bottom half of the oven.
2.
Allow oven to cool to room temperature.
3.
Install model and support tips. (See
Procedure
For Titan/Vantage:
1.
Manually move the head so that the model tip is directly above its tip wipe brush.
2.
Check the height adjustment of the tip wipe - the tip should be lightly touching the wiper
brush.
3.
Power up the system. (See

Stabilize the oven temperature at 145°C.
