X and Y Motor Installation
Tools and Materials Required
• 5/32-inch hex key
• Replacement cable ties
Procedure
1.
Install motor into the mount making sure the motor fits flush in the mount.
2.
Install and tighten motor mount screws.
3.
Route the motor cables along the system frame in the same location as the old cables were
located. Remove slack and secure the cables to the system frame using cable ties at the
wire tie standoffs.
4.
Plug motor cables into MIO board. Make sure connections are secure.
5.
Verify proper routing of the belts and reattach the removed belt tensioners to the mount
blocks. (See "X and Y Belt Installation" on page
6.
Install the gantry fan bank, tighten the mounting screws using a
5/32-inch hex key and connect the electrical connectors to the fans.
7.
Install the top panels. (See

Adjust belt tension for X and Y drive belts. (See
