ODIFYING AN
Overview This section describes how to edit or modify an existing
partition.
Use your storage management software to empty
Use your storage management software to empty all drives and discontinue host
Caution
operations before modifying an existing partition.
You might want to modify an existing partition for any of the following
reasons:
 Assign a Cleaning Partition — I f you created a cleaning partition and
 Assign a Global Spare Drive — I f you want to designate one of the
