IBRARY ONFIGURATION

IP Addressing

The Spectra T50e library is shipped with Dynamic Host Configuration
Protocol (DHCP) enabled. Therefore, the library's IP address is
automatically assigned by DHCP server.
The IP address of the library displays in the upper right corner of the User
Interface (front panel). If you wish to change the Network settings of the
library, the library must be connected to the network prior to powering the
library on.
If you need to change the library's Network settings, you can do this via the
front panel (LC) or RLC by navigating to the Configuration > Network
screen.

Partition Creation

If you want to configure the library with more than one partition, you must
purchase a Shared Library Services (SLS) option key.

IBRARY IRMWARE

Package Servers

Both Microsoft's Internet Information Services (IIS) and the Unix-based
Apache server work as package servers. (Package server configuration
information is defined in the library's user guide.)

Firmware Versions

Always ensure that you have the most current firmware for both the
library and the installed tape drives.
