Alarms
Meaning
The audio system has failed and
the backup system is in use. The
PC Unit currently in use may be
continued temporarily with
backup audio system. The audio
notifications may sound altered.
The EtCO module performs a

baseline by sampling CO
2
present in ambient air.
A broken or unknown SpO
2
sensor or patient cable is
attached. The device cannot
monitor the patient's vital signs.
A malfunction has occurred on
the Auto-ID module disabling
the barcode scanning
functionality. The PC unit
continues to operate.
The Auto-ID scanner or
handheld is not responding.
A communication error has
occurred.
All channels stopped.
The device is in a low battery
state where all channels are on
standby to conserve battery life
Response
Replace the PC unit as soon as
possible.
Wait for the device to complete its
auto-zeroing function. After the
autozero cycle is complete, the device
begins measurement again. No user
intervention is required.
Check or replace the sensor and the
patient cable.
The Auto-ID module should be
serviced by qualified personnel or
replaced as soon as possible.

Reconnect the Auto-ID module.
To silence the alarm and restart the
channels, plug in the power cord, or
press SYSTEM OFF. Plug in or replace
