Adjusting of the measurement processing speed
You can use the following methods to improve measurement processing speed.

• Measurement processing time takes long time becasue the measurement region is broad.
Set the measurement region as nallow as possible.
• Measurement processing time takes long time becasue the measurement region is broad.
Set the Model region as nallow as possible.
• A complicated shape is registed as a Model.
Check [High speed aligment mode] in Model parameter if target pattern is not a complex one.
• If there are too many false detections in a rough search.
Raise [Acceptable distortion level] If workpieces that should be judged OK vary little.
• The measurement process is longer for for high precision measurement than it is for sub-
pixel measurement. Uncheck [High-Prec.] when the position accuracy is enough high.
• There is a possible that needless rotational work piece is measured its angle.
Uncheck [Rotation] in this case.
• A work piece that its angle range is nallow is measured with huge angle range.
Set upper and lower level of [Angle range] to small when point-symmetry work pieces are
measured.
• Memory use is too high due to the measurement region being too large.
Set the measurement region as nallow as possible.
• Memory use is too high due to the size of the model being large.
Set the Model region or [Size change] of [Size change] as nallow as possible.
• Memory use is too high when [Back clutter] is checked.
Uncheck [Back clutter] and process the edge using processing units for compensate image
(refer to Chapter 3).
