Description
This command sends five ICMP echo packets to the specified ip address. You can also ping the specified IPv6
address.

Usage Guidelines
You can send five ICMP echo packets to a specified IP address. The controller times out after two seconds. You can
also ping the specified IPv6 address.
Examples
The following example pings 10.10.10.5.
(host) #ping 10.10.10.5
The sample controller output is:
Press 'q' to abort.
Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to 10.10.10.5, timeout is 2 seconds:!!!!!
Success rate is 100 percent (5/5), round-trip min/avg/max = 0.408/0.5434/1.073 ms
The following example pings the specified IPv6 global address:
(host) #ping ipv6 2005:d81f:f9f0:1001::14
The sample controller output is:
