Corrective action: Increase thickness of drive pin-
ion adjusting shim in order to move drive pinion
away from driven gear.
• Toe contact (Inside end contact)
Checking item: Contact areas is small.
Contact pattern
Corrective action: Increase thickness of drive pin-
ion adjusting shim in order to bring drive pinion
close to driven gear.
