Functions of the System Management Console
Activating the console window of partitions
Proceed as follows to open the console window:
Activating from the menu
1. Select a partition from the host browser (RC2000).
2. Select [Connect] from the Execute menu.
The console window of the partition selected in the host browser is then displayed.
Activating with a double-click
Double-click the partition in the host browser.

The console window of the partition selected in the host browser is then displayed.
Only one console window can be opened for each partition, in which read/write operations
can be carried out. A maximum of 14 console windows can be opened, however, which only
have read permission.

Closing the console window
Proceed as follows to close the console window again:
Closing via the menu of the host browser
1. Select a partition from the host browser.
2. Select [Disconnect] in the Execute menu.
The console window of the partition selected in the host browser is then closed.
Closing via the menu of the console window
1. Open the application menu in the top left corner of the console window to be closed.
2. Select Exit.
The relevant console window is then closed.
