Power over Ethernet (PoE)

NOTE
Power over Ethernet is only supported on the Mobility RFS6000 Controller controller. The following
information only applies to the Mobility RFS6000 Controller controller.
The Mobility RFS6000 Controller controller supports 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) on each of
its eight ge ports. The PoE screen allows users to monitor the power consumption of the ports and
configure power usage limits and priorities for each of the ge ports.
To view the PoE configuration:
1. Select Controller > Ports from the main menu tree.
2. Select the PoE tab
NOTE
The PoE screen is only available on the RFS6000 controller. The Mobility RFS7000 Controller
controller does not have Power over Ethernet on any ports and will not display the PoE tab.
The PoE Global Configuration section displays the following power information.
