3. Refer to the Configuration field to define the following information:

VLAN ID Enter a global default VLAN ID for all radios configured as sensors.
Ping Interval Define the ping interval (in seconds) the controller uses to contact the radios
defined as sensors.
Use DHCP to obtain IP Select this option to allow the controller's DHCP managed services to assign an IP
address automatically address to a WIPS sensor.
Subnet Mask
Assign a subnet mask to the WIPS Server.
Gateway IP Address
Assign a gateway address to the WIPS Server.
Primary WIPS Server
Define the first choice IP address where the controller managed network will
attempt to obtain rogue device information from a WIPS Server.
Address
Secondary WIPS Server Define an alternate (second choice) IP address where the controller managed
network will attempt to obtain rogue device information from a WIPS Server.
