Viewing associated client details

Viewing associated client details
The Wireless Clients screen displays read-only device information for Clients interoperating with the
controller managed network. The Wireless Clients screen consists of the following tabs:
Viewing client status
To view Client Status is detail:
1. Select Network > Wireless Clients from the main menu tree.
2. Click the Status tab.

Viewing client statistics
The Status screen displays the following read-only device information for Clients interoperating
within the controller managed network.
Station Index
Displays a numerical device recognition identifier for a specific Client.
MAC Address
Each Client has a unique Media Access Control (MAC) address through which it is
identified. This address is burned into the ROM of the Client.
MAC Name
Displays the MAC name associated with each Client's MAC Address. The MAC
Name is a user created name used to identify individual wireless client MAC
Addresses with a user friendly name.
IP Address
Displays the unique IP address for the Client. Use this address as necessary
throughout the applet for filtering and device intrusion recognition and approval.
