5.2 Types of agricultural implements coupled with tractors

According to the type of coupling with BELARUS-80.1/82.1/820 tractors, implements
are divided into the following types:
- mounted: the implement is fixed in three points to the upper and lower links' hinges of
RLL. The tractor carries the full weight of an implement in transport position. Implement struc-
tural components in transport position do not touch the ground. While changing the implement
position from operating to transport mode, the point in which the implement is connected to
the tractor is forcedly displaced to the new point along the vertical axis;
- semi-mounted: the implement is fixed in three points to the upper and lower links'
hinges of LL or just in two points to lower links of RLL only. The weight of an implement in
transport position is partly carried by the tractor and mostly by the machine's traveling
wheels (usually by one or two wheels). While changing the implement position from oper-
ating to transport, the point in which the implement is connected to the tractor is forcedly
displaced to the new point along the vertical axis. Two-point articulated linkage is effected
by way of connection of the machine's suspension axis connection pins to the lower links'
hinges of LL (upper link is not used). It is also possible to use a crossbar from the tractor
kit or the machine's kit.
