Figure 6.4.32 – Cleaning the filter cartridge of air pressure regulator filter
Note – The operation of cleaning the filter cartridge of air pressure regulator filter in
pneumatic system shall be performed only for regulator 80-3512010. The air pressure regu-
lator's designation marking is located on surface A of regulator body.
6.4.4.7 Operation 38. Check of pneumatic system lines for air tightness
Note – The operation shall be performed for tractors with universal cabin (with can-
opy frame or canopy base on the basis of universal cabin)
To check pneumatic system lines for air tightness, do the following:
- make the pressure reach the value from 0.6 to 0.65 MPa (according to the air
pressure indicator on the dashboard) and stop the engine;
- attach a pressure gauge with a scale division at least 1 MPa to the connecting head;
- with the help of the pressure gauge make sure that the pressure drop within 30
minutes does not exceed 0.2 MPa. Otherwise, determine the air leakage spot and elimi-
nate the fault.
6.4.4.8 Operation 39. Check / adjustment of brake valve drive of pneumatic system
Note – The operation shall be performed for tractors with universal cabin (with can-
opy frame or canopy base on the basis of universal cabin)
Check and, if necessary, adjust the brake valve drive as described in section 3.8.2.2
"Check and adjustment of pneumatic system brake valve drive."
6.4.4.9 Operation 40. Check of air-tightness of all joints of air cleaner and intake
duct
To check air tightness, use the "Device for checking air-tightness of intake duct КИ-
4870 ГОСНИТИ" or an analogical device. If such equipment is not available, check the
connections for air-tightness in the following way:
- remove the monocyclone;
- start the engine according to section 4.2.2.2 "Engine start and preparation for it";
- shut off the inlet branch pipe of the air cleaner.
If the intake duct is air-tight, the engine will die.
