6.2.4 Providing access to tractor components for technical maintenance of tractors
with metal hood 90-8400005.
Before starting technical maintenance, it is required to remove both side-frames 10
and 11 (Figure 6.2.4) and the monocyclone, and raise hood 6.
To remove the monocyclone, pull it upwards.
To remove side plates 10 and 11 do the following:
- open locks 17 in four places;
- raise and remove side plates 10 and 11.
To raise hood 6, do the following:
- release lock 8 from engagement with binder 9 by pulling handle 7;
- raise hood 6;
- fix hood 6 in open position with the help of rod 3 in bracket 4.
WARNING: BEFORE STARTING TECHNICAL MAINTENANCE IN THE AREA UNDER
THE HOOD, MAKE SURE IT IS SECURELY FIXED IN THE OPEN POSITION!
To provide access to units and parts that are located directly under hood 6 (in closed
position) in the tractor front part, do the following:
- unscrew bolts 1 in two places;
- remove mesh 2.
To install mesh 2 on hood 6, do the following:
- mount mesh 2 and fasten with bolts 1 in two places.
To lower and close hood 6 proceed as follows:
- slightly raise hood 6 in order to free rod 3 from bracket 4;
- fix rod 3 in clamp 5 on hood 6;
- lower hood 6 to its bottom position until you hear a typical click (actuation of lock 8).
To install side plates 10 and 11 do the following:
- install latches 12 and 14 on side plates 10 and 11 in four places on brackets 13
and 15;
- click-up locks 17 in detents 16 in four places until you hear a typical click (actuation of
lock).
