To lift front elements of a tractor with FDA, set leveling jacks (or a single jack) under
the front driving axle beam tubes, as illustrated in figure 6.6.3.
For tractors with FDA with planetary-spur
gear groups

To lift front elements of a tractor with non-driving front axle, set leveling jacks (or a
single jack) under the beam of front wheels' axle as shown in figure 6.6.4.

When using leveling jacks, observe the following safety requirements:
- while lifting tractors BELARUS -80.1/82.1/820, use properly operating leveling
jacks with lifting capacity of at least 5 tons;
- before tractor jacking, stop the engine and engage the parking brake;
- while jacking (lifting) tractor front elements, put wedges under rear wheels;
- while jacking tractor rear elements, engage the gear and put wedges under front
wheels (wheel);
- do not put the jack on soft or slippery surface as it may cause the tractor falling off
the jack. When needed, use steady and relatively large-area support;
- after lifting the tractor, put limit stops under the front axle, FDA axle, axle shafts of
rear wheels or basic parts of tractor framework, to exclude tractor falling or rolling move-
ment.
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO START THE ENGINE WHEN THE TRACTOR IS JACKED.
ATTENTION: ONLY PERSONNEL WHO HAVE UNDERGONE INDUCTION
BRIEFING AND WORKPLACE TRAINING, AND HAVE BEEN PROPERLY INSTRUCTED
ON LEVELING JACK SAFE USE AND METHODS OF LEVELING JACK SAFE OPERA-
TION ARE ALLOWED TO OPERATE A LEVELING JACK!
