Failure,
external manifestation, cause
Spool recentering springs of dos-
ing pump have lost spring power or
are broken
Releasing steering wheel does not cause depressurization in HSC hy-
When releasing the steering wheel in
both end-point positions, there is no
turn-through of the steering wheel (by
20...30mm) in the opposite direction
due to the action of dosing pump
springs (the spool does not return to
the neutral, the pressure in charge
hydraulic line does not drop) due to
the following reason:
- excessive friction or blocking up of
steering drive mechanical compo-
nents
Tapered pins of the hydraulic cyl-
inder or the steering link are not
tightened
Increased play in cardan connec-
tions of steering wheel drive
Spool recentering springs of dos-
ing pump have lost spring power

Considering extreme complexity and responsibility of the dosing pump from the point of
view of steering system safety, its assembly and disassembly shall be carried out only by
servicing personnel of manufacturing company (or other authorized maintenance depart-
ment), properly trained, having studied dosing pump design and service and dosing pump
assembly-disassembly manuals, and provided they have all the required service tools, ac-
cessories and a special hydraulic stand, ensuring adjustment and check of dosing pump pa-
rameters and operability after the repairs have been made. Otherwise, a person performing
the dosing pump assembly and disassembly, replacement of parts and components or ad-
justment of valves, as well as the tractor owner, bears full responsibility for dosing pump
non-operability.
Contact your dealer. Replacement of springs, assembly
and check of operability shall be performed only by
maintenance department in accordance with the manu-

draulic system
Eliminate friction in the steering column, which re-quires the
following:

- grease friction surfaces of plastic bushings;
- eliminate contact of cardan yokes on sides of the steer-
ing drive column
Increased play in the steering wheel
Tighten pin nuts with a torque of 180 to 200 Nꞏm and
secure by split pin
Replace worn-out parts
