3.18.3 Programming procedure for tachospeedometer of instrument board
with cast panel

3.18.3.1 Tachospeedometer control panel

The control panel given in figure 3.16. 1 is mounted on the dashboard panel and serves for
programming of the tachospeedometer (tachospeedometer АР70.3813 or integrated indicator
КД 8083, whichever installed) for a specific model (modification) of BELARUS tractor.
1 – button to enter tachospeedometer programming mode and to select programmable parame-
ter on tachospeedometer (integrated indicator) display; 2 – button to select the value of parameter to
code, which is shown in tachospeedometer (integrated indicator) display.
3.18.3.2 The programming procedure for electric tachospeedometer АР70.3813
The programming procedure for electric tachospeedometer АР70.3813 is as follows:
- remove the cover of control panel;
- press button 1 (figure 3.18.1) of the panel, this will switch the tachospeedometer АР70.3813
display into the mode of tractor equipment's parameters;
- pressing the panel's button 1 several times switches in a cycle between programmable pa-
rameters "Z", "R", "D", "T" and again "Z";
- to enter the necessary value of a selected parameter, press button 2 of the panel, this will ac-
tivate cyclic change of fixed values for parameters "Z" and "D". For parameter R, the value can be
changed from 400 to 950 with 5mm intervals;
- by means of button 2 of the panel choose the necessary value of the selected parameter;
- another pressing on button 1 of the panel will switch to the next parameter.
- the programming mode is closed automatically if there is no pressing on buttons 1 and
2 for seven seconds. The new values of programming parameters will be fixed and used by the
tachospeedometer АР70.3813 to display information.
The list of programmable parameter values for tachospeedometer АР70.3813 of tractors
BELARUS-80.1/82.1/820 are given in Table 3.18.1.

1) "750" is the value for 15.5R38 tyres, "770" is the value for 18.4R34(F-11) tyres. If other tyre
types are mounted, it is necessary to set parameter "R" value according to the rolling radius of the
tyres mounted as per table 3.11.1.

R stands for rear wheel rolling radius, mm. This value can be
changed during re-programming with 5 mm intervals
Engine type – this parameter considers transmission ratio of the drive
of alternator from crankshaft, transmission ratio of the rear PTO shaft end
(parameter to display rotation frequency of the engine and rear PTO)
Detailed elapsed time – this parameter is displayed in the program-
ming mode and cannot be changed. The parameter provides detailed
value (up to 1/10 hour) of engine operation time
