- on tractors with FDA 72-2300020-А-04 (72-2300020-А) change oil in upper and
lower bevel gear pairs of FDA gear groups, FDA body and intermediate support of FDA
cardan drive;
- change oil in engine crankcase;
- replace oil filter of the engine;
- check and if necessary tighten the bolts retaining cylinder heads;
- check and if necessary adjust the gap between valves and rocker arms;
- check lubrication in all assembly units according to paragraph 3 of table 6.7.1.
Wherever required, grease or replace the grease;
- check and if necessary restore air-tightness of all connections of the air cleaner
and inlet duct;
- check and if necessary adjust the tightness of the fan belt;
- inspect the performance of the engine, steering, brakes, controls, lighting and
warning systems.
- check and if necessary adjust the tyre pressure to the required rate in accordance
with table 4.2.2;

4.5 Emergency actions

4.5.1 For emergency tractor stop, sharply depress clutch and brake pedals simulta-
neously.
4.5.2 For emergency stop of the engine pull the engine stop handle.
4.5.3. In case of an accident, immediately stop the engine, engage tractor brakes,
deactivate accumulator batteries and leave the tractor cab through any of the emergency
exits by opening the left or right cab door, or rear window, or the roof, depending on tractor
position. If it is not possible to open the emergency exits, break either the front screen, or
the rear screen, or one of the side windows with a heavy object at hand and leave the trac-
tor cab.
Note – The location of emergency exits is given in subsection 2.19 "Cab locks and
handles".
4.5.4 In case the engine crankshaft speeds up excessively, stop the engine and
brake the tractor immediately.
4.5.5 In case fumigation or a fire bed occurs, stop the tractor immediately, kill the
engine and turn the battery switch off. Pour some sand onto the fire bed, cover it with tar-
paulin, sackcloth or other dense texture. Use a CO2 fire extinguisher. Do not pour water
over burning fuel and oil.
