7.5 Possible failures of the rear power take-off shaft and instructions for trou-
ble-shooting
A list of possible failures in rear axle power take-off shaft and instructions for their
troubleshooting are given in Table 7.5.1.

Replace the disks
Replace the disk assembly

Adjust the pressure delivered to the DL clutch by

changing the quantity of adjusting washers 23 (fig-
ure 3.4.4). The pressure shall be In the range 0.9
to 1.3 MPa.
Replace the reduction valve

Take off the DL sensor and rinse it in diesel fuel or
replace it
Adjust the control mechanism as indicated in sec-
tion 3.4.5.4 "Rear axle differential lock cable con-
trol adjustment"
Adjust the rear PTO as indicated in subsection 3.5
"Rear power take off shaft"
Eliminate the causes preventing free movement of
rear PTO control mechanism parts. The rear PTO
control lever shall have rigid fix in positions "PTO
engaged" / "PTO disengaged"
