Diagram of the side semi-continuous PTO engagement is shown in figure 2.15.4,
and is given in the instruction plate in the tractor cabin on the left side under the glass.
ATTENTION: THE SIDE SEMI-CONTINUOUS PTO DISENGAGES WHEN YOU
PRESS THE CLUTCH PEDAL!
ATTENTION: ENGAGEMENT AND DISENGAGEMENT OF THE SIDE SEMI-
CONTINUOUS PTO IS CARRIED OUT WITH DEAD ENGINE, OR WITH THE ENGINE
RUNNING AND WITH THE CLUTCH PEDAL DEPRESSED!
The side semi-continuous PTO at rated engine speeds has the following speeds:
- 571 min -1 – with reducing gearing stage of the gearbox gear reduction unit en-
gaged ("turtle");
- 755 min -1 – with accelerator gearing stage the gearbox gear reduction unit en-
gaged ("hare").

2.16 Hydraulic lift linkage control

2.16.1 General information

HLL control elements include handles to control remote cylinders and RLL, HLL
pump control parts and lever to lock RLL mechanism in transport position.
On tractors "BELARUS-80.1/82.1/820" the following distributors can be installed:
- Р80-3/1-222 (without draft control);
- Р80-3/4-111 (with draft control);
- Р80-3/4-222 (with draft control);
- РП70-890.1(without draft control);
- РП70-1221.1С (with draft control);
- РП70-1221ТС (with daft control);
- RS-213 BELARUS (with draft control).

2.16.2 HLL pump control

Roller 1 (figure 2.16.1) to switch on HLL pump has two positions:
- "HLL pump on" – roller 1 is turned anticlockwise against the stop;
- "HLL pump off" – roller 1 is turned clockwise against the stop.
Before you turn roller 1 in either of the two positions, loosen bolt 2 by 1...1,5 turns
and turn roller 1 together with lock plate. Tighten bolt 2.
The diagram of HLL pump switching on is shown in figure 2.16.1, and is given in
the instruction plate on the lower part of the cabin front wall.
