If your tractor's engine is equipped with an indecomposable fine fuel filter, replace the fi-
ne fuel filter by doing the following:
- shut off both cocks (Figure 2.23.1) of fuel tanks;
- drain fuel from the filter by unscrewing plug 8 (Figure 6.4.58) in the lower part of
the body;
- prevent fuel spillage, and drain fuel only into a special container;
- unscrew filter 1 from fitting 7 in body 3 and mount a new filter instead, which is
supplied in assembly with gasket 2; lubricate the gasket with engine oil before installing
the new filter
- after gasket 2 touches the mounting platform "A" on body 3, tighten the filter up by
another 3/4 revolution. The additional tightening shall be carried out by hand force only;
- fill the system with fuel;
- remove air from the fuel supply system.

Instead of filter ФТ020-1117010, it is allowed to install other fuel filters of indecom-
posable type with basic technological specifications and dimensions as follows:
- filtering efficiency of at least 90%;
- nominal flow rate with the pressure fluctuations of 0.01 MPa: not less than 150 l/h;
- diameter: from 95 to 105 mm;
- height: from 140 to 160 mm;
- connecting threading: M16x1.5;
- outer diameter of sealing gasket makes 70 to 75 mm.
To remove air from the engine's fuel supply system with an indecomposable fine
fuel filter, do the following:
- open the cocks of fuel tanks;
