6.4.4 Technical maintenance every 500 hours of operation

6.4.4.1 General instructions
Perform the previous operations, as well as the operations listed in this subsec-
tion 6.4.4.
6.4.4.2 Operation 33. Check of oil level in wheel gear group bodies and in FDA
master drive body.
Note – Operation shall be performed for tractors BELARUS-820
Before checking oil level in wheel gear group bodies and in FDA master drive body,
put the tractor on a flat horizontal surface. The diesel engine shall be stopped. Engage the
parking brake and put wheel chocks at the front and back of rear wheels to prevent spon-
taneous movement.
To check oil level in wheel gear group bodies and in master drive body of FDA with
planetary-spur wheel gear groups, do the following:
- to check oil level in wheel gear group bodies, unscrew level/fill plugs 1 (Figure
6.4.29) in wheel gear group 2;
- make sure that oil level coincides with bottom edges of holes of level/fill plugs 1;
- if necessary, top up oil to reach the necessary level;
- install level/fill plugs 1 back to their places.

- to check oil level in master drive body, unscrew level/fill plug 1 (Figure 6.4.30) of
one of the tubes of axle beam;
- make sure that the oil level coincides with the lower edge of level/fill plug 1 open-
ing;
- if necessary, top up oil to reach the necessary level;
- place back level/fill plug 1.
