1 – handle; 2 – fork; 3 – tube; 4 – housing; 5 – eyebar.
The length of the lifting rods (both screw-type and gear-type) is adjusted in
the range from 425 to 520 mm. In delivery condition from the factory the lifting rods are ad-
justed for the length 475 mm.
To speed-up change of the lifting rods length two holes are provided on their fork (A
and Б in figures 3.16.7 and 3.16.8) for mounting of a pin. To follow the contour of the culti-
vated field when working with wide-span machines and to avoid damage to the lifting rods,
connect the lifting rods to the lower links through the slots (B in figure 3.16.7 and 3.16.8).
In this case the slots of the lifting rod fork shall be at the back of the hole along the tractor
travel to avoid damage to the lifting rod.
When working with the agricultural implements adjust the length of the right lifting
rod for the tillage depth.

3.16.2.3 Upper link

The upper link is shown in figure 3.16.9.
The length of the upper link can be adjusted in the range from 500 to 740 mm.
Adjust the length of the upper link in the following sequence:
- unscrew locknut 4 (figure 3.16.9);
- rotating handle 3 of tube 2 clockwise or anticlockwise change the length of the up-
per link;
- having adjusted the length of the link, lock threaded connection by locknut 4.
To attach the upper link to the implement use pin 6 of the rear hinge, to lock the pin
install cotter key with ring 7 on it.
1 – front screw with hinge; 2 – tube; 3 – handle; 4 – locknut, 5 – rear screw with
hinge; 6 – pin; 7 – cotter key with ring.
On tractors with draft control eyebar 1 is mounted (figure 2.17.2 and 2.28.12). De-
pending on the type of work performed, the following variants of upper link 2 mounting in
the holes of eyebar 1 are recommended:
- when using the RLL in the mode of draft control, mount the upper link of the mounted
implement on two upper holes of eyebar 9 (positions "A" and "Б" in figure 2.17.2 or 2.28.12);
- when using the RLL in the mode of position control mount the upper link of the
mounted implement on the upper hole of the eyebar (position "A" in figure 2.17.2 or 2.28.12);
- when using the RLL in the mode of depth control mount the upper link of
the mounted implement on the lower hole of the eyebar (position "B" in figure 2.17.2 or
2.28.12);
