If tractor is equipped with the reverse-reduction gear (figure 3.3.4), then there is no
intermediate gear of reverse movement 15 (figure 3.3.2) in GB, and tractor reverse move-
ment is carried out by turning on the reverse-reduction gear (see. Section 2).
In the rear part of shaft 27 on its smooth neck on the bronze bushing driven gear of
step-down gears and reverse movement 25 is installed, which is in constant mesh with a
smaller gear ring of gear 25 (figure 3.3.1) of intermediate shaft 32. If tractor does not use
hydraulic creeper (or is not equipped with hydraulic creeper), then through gear 25 (figure
3.3.2) by means of gear 24 drive of shaft 27 is ensured. In this case gear 24 is connected
to the inner spline crown of gear 25 and outer spline crown of shaft 27, as shown in figure
3.3.2. On tractor equipped with hydraulic creeper, spring ring 23 is shifted backwards
against the stop, and when operated with hydraulic creeper engaged rotation is transmit-
ted from gear 25 (figure 3.3.10) to gear 25 (figure 3.3.2), which in this case rotates on shaft
27, and gear 24 is disengaged by hydraulic creeper lever from gear 25. In this case power
flow after transformation in hydraulic creeper is transmitted to shaft 27 through its spline
connection to gear 24.
On the right side of the GB in the borings of the GB housing axis 28 is installed, on
which on two tapered roller bearings FDA drive gear 29 rotates freely. Power flow take off
on FDA is carried out from driven gear of the 1st stage of range speed reduction unit 6
(figure 3.3.1), with which gear 29 (figure 3.3.2) is in constant mesh.
On the front wall of GB housing 29 (figure 3.3.1), coaxial with intermediate shaft 32,
seat 30 is mounted inside of which front bearing of inner shaft 19 is located, and outside
roller bearings of intermediate double-crown speed reduction unit gear 31 are located.
On the right and on the left on GB housing there are windows (figure 3.3.2).Left
window is closed with cover 18, in which there is oil dip stick 19 for oil level monitoring. If
tractor is equipped with hydraulic creeper or with side semi-continuous PTO, then cover 18
is dismounted, and the window is closed by hydraulic creeper body or by that of the side,
semi-continuous PTO. In this case oil level monitoring is ensured by control plug 16.
The first window is closed with the body of the transfer gearbox of FDA drive.
For oil drain when replacing it in the lower part of the GB housing a hole is provided,
which is closed by plug 17.
