- position the machine (implement) symmetrically to the longitudinal axis of the trac-
tor;
- the buckles shall be connected to the second from below holes of brackets 1 as
shown in view b) of figure 3.16.5;
- check the value of lateral swinging of the machine (implement), which shall not be
higher than 20 mm in each direction;
- to limit swinging of the implement in each direction not more than 20 mm adjust
the lengths of buckles 2 by rotating the central element A of the buckles.
When setting the RLL in transport position it is necessary to carry out full locking of
the buckles in transport position:
- if the buckles were partially locked in working position, when the machine (imple-
ment) is in lifted upper position, it is necessary to shorten to the maximum the lengths of
buckles 2 by rotating central element A of the buckles. Then check the value of lateral
swinging of the machine (implement), which shall not be higher than 20 mm in each direc-
tion. If necessary shorten more the lengths of buckles 2 by rotating central element "A" of
the buckles;
- if the buckles were fully locked in working position, the buckles are automatically
locked in transport position, when the machine (implement) is lifted to the upper position.
ATTENTION: WHEN MOUNTING FRONT ENDS OF THE LOWER LINKS ON THE
AXES OF THE LOWER LINKS (DELIVERY CONDITION FROM THE FACTORY), TO
AVOID BREAKAGE, THE EXTERNAL TURNBUCKLES SHALL BE MOUNTED ONLY ON
TWO LOWER HOLES OF BRACKETS 1 (FIGURE 3.16.5)! IT IS FORBIDDEN TO USE
TWO UPPER HOLES OF BRACKET 1!
ATTENTION: WHEN MOUNTING FRONT ENDS OF THE LOWER LINKS ON AD-
DITIONAL AXES 4 (FIGURE 3.16.5), TO AVOID BREAKAGE, THE EXTERNAL TURN-
BUCKLES SHALL BE MOUNTED ONLY ON TWO UPPER HOLES OF BRACKETS 1
(THE SECOND HOLES ABOVE ARE FOR PARTIAL LOCKING OF THE BUCKLES, UP-
PER HOLES – FOR FULL LOCKING OF THE BUCKLES) IT IS FORBIDDEN TO USE
TWO LOWER HOLES OF BRACKET 1!

3.16.2.1.4 Internal buckles

The internal buckle consists of bracket 1 (figure 3.16.6), bolt 2, eyebar 3, bolt 4, nut
5, cotter pin 6 and buckle 7. When operating the tractor the internal buckles shall be al-
ways locked in one of the three positions:
- full locking of the buckles in transport position;
- full locking of the buckles in working position;
- partial locking of the buckles in working position.
To lock the internal buckles fully in transport position (the lower links are raised up-
wards) it is necessary to unscrew as much as possible bolt 2 from bracket 1 before lifting
the RLL.
During inter-row tillage, sowing and other work, the lower arms of the implement
must be completely locked against lateral movement in order to prevent damage to the
plants when the implement is swinging.
For full lock of the buckles in working position proceed as follows:
- slightly raise the implement on the RLL, so that its working bodies do not touch the
ground. In this case adjusting bolts 2 shall be screwed into bracket 1 against the stop;
- shorten the buckles. For that, unscrew locknut 8. Then turn buckle 7 clockwise
against the stop and lock threaded connection with locknut 8.
- swinging of the locked implement shall be not higher than 20 mm in both directions.
When working with some implements it is necessary to ensure swinging of the im-
plement in each direction not less than 125 mm or other value according to the operation
manual of the implement. For that, it is necessary to carry out partial locking of the buckles
in working condition.
