5.8 Peculiarities of tractor application in special conditions

5.8.1 Tractor operation in areas with rugged topography. Possibility of using the
tractor for haylage preparation
Operator who works in the fields and roads with slopes (inclines), shall exercise
caution and attention.
Technical specifications of the general-purpose implements coupled in the structure
of MTU ensure its safe and proper operation on working field spaces with a slope grade
not exceeding 9 degrees.
ATTENTION: TRACTORS BELARUS-80.1/82.1/820 ARE INAPPROPRIATE FOR
OPERATION WITH GENERAL-PURPOSE IMPLEMENTS IN HILLY AREAS INCLUDING
ON STEEP SLOPES. THEREFORE, TRACTORS ARE NOT COMPLETED WITH SPE-
CIAL-PURPOSE DEVICES, FOR EXAMPLE INCLINATION OF THE FRONT PART SIG-
NALING DEVICE!
ATTENTION: APPLICATION OF TRACTORS BELARUS-80.1/82.1/820 FOR GRASS
STACKING (SILAGE OR HAYLAGE) IN TRENCHES AND PITS IS NOT ALLOWED!

5.8.2 Application of substances for chemical treatment

The cabin is equipped with ventilation and heating system according to GOST
12.2.120. In ventilation system, there are two paper filters installed, with operating specifi-
cations according to GOST ISO 14269-5
ATTENTION: CABIN OF BELARUS-80.1/82.1/820 TRACTORS DOES NOT PROTECT
FROM POSSIBLE DAMAGING EFFECT OF SUBSTANCES USED FOR CHEMICAL
TREATMENT OF AGRICULTURAL PLANTS AND SOILS INCLUDING SPRAY TREATMENT.
FOR THIS REASON, WHEN OPERATING WITH CHEMICAL SUBSTANCES, THE OPERA-
TOR SHALL WEAR INDIVIDUAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT APPROPRIATE FOR THE
OPERATING CONDITIONS!
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO PUT SUBSTANCES USED FOR CHEMICAL TREATMENT OF
AGRICULTURAL PLANTS AND SOILS IN THE CABIN.
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO ENTER THE TRACTOR CABIN WEARING CLOTHES OR
SHOES CONTAMINATED WITH SUBSTANCES USED FOR CHEMICAL TREATMENT OF
AGRICULTURAL PLANTS AND SOILS.
For safe and proper application of such substances, it is necessary to observe the
instructions written on the labels and documents accompanying the substances.
It is required to use all individual protective equipment and special clothes (work
clothes and closed footwear, etc.), that are appropriate for the operating conditions and
comply with current safety requirements.
If a breathing mask inhaler is required by the instruction on use of substance for
chemical treatment, it shall be used inside the tractor cabin.

5.8.3 Operation in a forest

IT IS FORBIDDEN TO USE BELARUS-80.1/82.1/820 TRACTOR FOR ANY TYPE
OF OPERATION IN A FOREST, INCLUDING COUPLING OF CLAMSHELL LOADERS,
SKIDDING EQUIPMENT, SPECIAL-PURPOSE FORESTRY MACHINERY DESIGNED
FOR GATHERING, LOADING, AND TRANSPORTATION OF TREES, AND THEIR UN-
LOADING, SORTING AND WAREHOUSING!
ATTENTION: ACCORDING TO THE PURPOSE OF THE TRACTOR BELARUS-
80.1/82.1/820, ITS DESIGN DOES NOT PROVIDE ANY SPECIAL PROTECTION DEVICE
"OPS" FOR OPERATOR'S WORKING PLACE INCLUDING SPECIAL ATTACHING
POINTS FOR IT. FOR THIS REASON THE TRACTOR SHALL NOT BE OPERATED IN
THE CONDITIONS WHEN THERE IS A HAZARD OF PENETRATION OF TREES,
BRANCHES, AND SINGLE PARTS OF THE COUPLED EQUIPMENT INTO THE OPERA-
TOR'S CABIN!
