6.4.1.6 Operation 5. Check of tyre condition
Inspect the visual appearance and condition of the tyres for damage, stuck objects in
the tyres (nails, stones and etc.). If required, clean the tyres from foreign objects. If there are
damages in the tyres that reach to the cord or through, it is necessary to dismantle the tyre
and send it to a special repair shop for restoration. If there are damages in the tyres, which
cannot be repaired, replace the tyre. Direct the defective tyre for disposal.
6.4.1.7 Operation 6. Inspection of hydraulic system components
Inspect hydraulic system components, if there are condensation and downflows,
eliminate them by tightening the threaded connections. Replace hoses and high-pressure
hoses that have failed.
6.4.1.8 Operation 7. Check of wiring in engine compartment
Inspect the condition of electrical wiring, wire harnesses in the engine compartment
for chaffing, melting or destruction of the external insulation.
In case of detection of the faults listed above do the following:
- restore the damaged areas with PVC adhesive tape;
- eliminate the cause of the damage to the insulation (as a rule it is caused by wrong fas-
tening of electrical wiring).
6.4.1.9 Operation 8. Check / cleaning of engine water radiator
Check the cleanness of the hood mask grid and of engine water radiator core. If they are
contaminated, clean them with a soft brush, purge with compressed air. Direct the air flow per-
pendicular to the water radiator plane, from top downward.
In case of strong contamination of the water radiator, rinse it with hot water under the
pressure not more than 0.2 MPa and purge it with compressed air, or clean the core with the
washing device "Kärcher". In this case, it is necessary to clean the radiator core both from the
side of hood mask and from the engine fan side.
USE OF ALKALINE SOLUTIONS AND AGGRESSIVE WASHING COMPOSITIONS IS
PROHIBITED.
6.4.1.10 Operation 9. Check of breaks functioning during tractor movement, opera-
bility of engine, steering, light/alarm devices
The following tractor operating parameters shall be ensured:
- the engine shall work steadily in all modes;
- controls, light and acoustic alarm devices shall be in good order;
- simultaneous braking of the right and left service brakes.
If the above conditions are not observed, make the required adjustments or repairs
to the corresponding tractor systems.
6.4.1.11 Operation 10. Condensate water drain from pneumatic system tank
To remove condensate from the tank 2 of the pneumatic system (figure 6.4.5), it is
necessary to pull drain valve ring 1 installed on the tank in the horizontal direction to any
side and hold it till condensate water is drained completely.
