2.28.7 Rear power take-off shaft engagement of tractors with canopy frame or can-
opy base on the basis of a small cabin
Rear PTO engagement is only possible in case if arm 34 (figure 2.28.1) is set to po-
sition "rear PTO ground-speed drive is engaged" or to the position "rear PTO continuous
drive is engaged". In the position "neutral" rear PTO does not work.
Rear PTO engagement lever 1 (figure 2.28.9) has two positions:
- when you shift lever 1 from the lower most position into the upper most position,
rear PTO engages;
- when you shift lever 1 from the upper most position into the lower most position,
rear PTO disengages.
It is recommended to engage and to disengage rear PTO with the engine running.
Note – In figure 2.28.9 rear PTO engagement lever 1 is set to position "rear PTO
disengaged".
