3.20 Front wheel fenders with turning mechanism

3.20.1 General information

Tractors with FDA 822 (BELARUS-820 (basic configuration) and BELARUS-82.1
(custom configurations)) are equipped with front wheel fenders with turning mechanism.
The turning mechanism is designed for preventing the contact between the fenders and
the tractor framework and their damage or breakage due to such contact at large turning
angles, and also allows to avoid limiting the wheel turning angle. The turning mechanism
allows to decrease the fender turning angle relative to the front wheel turning angle.

3.20.2 Adjustment of front wheel fenders with turning mechanism

To adjust front wheel fenders with turning mechanism, proceed as follows:
- set dimension 115 mm with the help of adjusting bolt 2 in order to provide for a
pre-load of spring1, lock bolt 2 with nut 3;
-with the help of adjusting detent 4, adjust the gap from 5 to 10 mm between fender
6 and any other close part of the tractor framework at wheel turn and FDA swinging. Lock
detent 4 with nut 5.
