3.9 Front axle 80-3000030 of tractor "BELARUS-80.1"

Front axle 80-3000030 is mounted on tractor "BELARUS-80.1"
The composition of the front axle is represented in figure 3.9.1. The front axle is a
telescopic type tubular beam, connected to the front beam of the half frame by means of
the oscillation axis 19 (figure 3.9.1) and locked with pin 18.
At each end in the tube of front axle 1 extension knuckle 2 is inserted, which con-
sists of the bracket and telescopic tube. The telescopic tube can be attached in the tube of
front axle 1 in five positions with intervals of 50 mm, which allows to change the track of
the drive wheels from 1240 to 1640 mm (diagram 1 in figure 4.2.9) and from 1350 to
1750 mm (diagram 2 in figure 4.2.9) by means of extension of knuckles 2 (figure 3.9.1)
and locking them with pins 17. In the knuckle brackets on two sleeves swivel pins 3 are
mounted.
On the upper ends of swivel pins swivel arms 4 are secured, which are connected
to drop arm by means of steering rods 5, forming divided steering trapezium. Steering rods
5 are length adjustable and are connected to swivel arms 4 and drop arm by means of
joints. Joints consist of ball pin 21, protective cover 22, upper liner 23, joint body 24, lower
liner 25, adjusting plug 26.
Greasing of swivel pins is carried out through grease fittings 27.
