6.4.5.10 Operation 57. Change of oil in FDA master drive, intermediate support of
FDA cardan drive, upper and lower bevel gear pairs of FDA wheel gear groups
Note: The operation shall be performed only on BELARUS-82.1 tractor.
Before changing the oil, warm up the oil in the bodies of FDA and intermediate sup-
port to normal operating temperature by driving the tractor.
Then place the tractor on a flat horizontal platform. The engine shall be shut down.
Apply the parking brake and put wheel chocks in front of and behind the rear wheels to
prevent movement of the tractor.
To change oil in the body of intermediate support, do the following:
- unscrew level/fill plug 1 (Figure 6.4.48) and drain plug 2 from intermediate support
body, drain oil into a special container for used oil;
- place back drain plug 2 and fill the intermediate support body with fresh oil through
the level/fill opening to the level of bottom edge of the opening of level/fill plug 1;
- place back level/fill plug 1.

To change oil in the body of FDA with bevel wheel gear groups, proceed as follows:
- unscrew level/fill plugs of the body of lower bevel pairs 2 (Figure 6.4.49), of the
body of upper bevel pairs 3, of master drive body 4;
- unscrew drain plugs of the body of lower bevel pairs 1, of master drive body 5,
drain oil into a special container for used oil;
- put drain plugs 1 and 5 back;
- fill the bodies of lower bevel gear pairs and of master drive with fresh oil through
the level/fill openings, up to the level of bottom edges of openings of level/fill plugs 2
and 4;
- put level/fill plugs 2 and 4 back to their places;
- to remove oil from the bodies of upper bevel pair with the help of grease gun 3
(Figure 6.4.50) for liquid lubricants, pump out a part of the oil through level/fill openings 4;
- unscrew bolts 2, remove cover 1 from bodies of upper bevel pairs and remove the
rest of the oil with the grease gun;
- place back cover 1 and bolts 2;
