- semi-trailed: the implement is usually fixed in one point to the tow hitch by means
of a towing eye. It is also possible to use a two-point articulated connection with the lift
linkage (upper link is not used). The weight of an implement in transport position is carried
partly by the tractor and mostly by the implement's traveling wheels (usually two or more
wheels). While changing the implement position from operating to transport, position of the
point in which the implement is connected to the tractor remains unchanged. Semi-trailed
implements include various vehicles for general and special purposes: general purpose
semi-trailers, tank semi-trailers, dump semi-trailers and special purpose semi-trailed vehi-
cles for mechanizing of technological process in the agricultural sector.
- trailed: the implement is usually fixed to the TH in one point by means of tractor
towing eye. It is also possible to use a two-point articulated connection with lift linkage
(upper link is not used). The chassis of the machine can carry its full weight, and the hitch
mechanism (TH or LL) is loaded only by the weight of machine's connector. While chang-
ing the implement position from operating to transport, position of the point in which the
implement is connected to the tractor remains unchanged. Trailed implements include var-
ious vehicles for general and special purposes: general purpose trailers, tank trailers,
dump trailers, and special purpose trailed vehicles for mechanizing of technological pro-
cess in the agricultural sector.
