6.2.5 Providing access to tractor components for maintenance service of tractor
with plastic hood 950.1- 8402020
Before starting technical maintenance, it is required to remove both side-frames 11
and 12 (Figure 6.2.5) and the monocyclone, and raise hood 7.
To remove the monocyclone, pull it upwards.
To remove side plates 11 and 12 do the following:
- unscrew handles 16 in four places;
- remove bolts 15 from side plates 11 and 12 in four places by pulling;
- raise and remove side plates 11 and 12.
To raise hood 7, do the following:
- release lock 9 from engagement with binder 10 by pulling handle 8;
- raise hood 7;
- fix hood 7 in open position with the help of rod 5 in bracket 3 and clamp 4.
WARNING: BEFORE STARTING TECHNICAL MAINTENANCE IN THE AREA
UNDER THE HOOD, MAKE SURE IT IS SECURELY FIXED IN THE OPEN POSITION!
To provide access to units and parts that are located directly under hood 7 (in
closed position) in the tractor front part, do the following:
- unscrew bolts 1 in two places;
- remove mesh 2.
To install mesh 2 on hood 7, do the following:
- mount mesh 2 and fasten with bolts 1 in two places.
To lower and close hood 7 proceed as follows:
- slightly raise hood 7 in order to release rod 5 from bracket 3;
- pull back rod 5 to release it from clamp 4;
- fix rod 5 in clamp 6 on hood 7;
- lower hood 7 to its bottom position until you hear a typical click (actuation of
lock 9).
To install side plates 11 and 12 do the following:
- install latches 14 on side plates 11 and 12 in four places on brackets 13 and 17;
- match the holes on side plates 11 and 12 with screws 15 in four places;
- screw up handles 16 in four places.
