- set the rod that engages the semi-continuous side PTO into position "Off";
- the control handles of the distributor of hydraulic lift linkage shall be in "neutral"
position;
- depress the clutch pedal, shift the gear-switching and range-switching levers of the
gearbox into the position of engaging the I
- turn on the battery disconnect switch;
- turn the key of starter and instruments switch from "0" to position "I". This will trig-
ger the following:
1) on tractors with instrument board with cast panel, the tachospeedometer display
will reveal the total engine operation time in hours; also, within not more than one second,
both annunciators of rear PTO scale range and all segments of rear PTO scale will turn
on, and the needle of engine rpm indicator will deflect from the initial position (alternatively,
within not more than one second, the needle will "shake" over the zero mark of the indica-
tor) – this confirms the workability of LED annunciators and needle indicators.
On tractors with instrument board with molded panel, within not more than one
second, both annunciators of rear PTO scale range and all segments of rear PTO scale
will turn on, and the needles of speed and engine rpm indicators will deflect from the initial
position (alternatively, within not more than one second, the needles will "shake" over the
zero mark of the indicator) – this confirms the workability of LED annunciators and needle
indicators.
2) On the pilot lamps units, pilot annunciator lamp of parking brake engagement
will activate in blinking mode with the frequency of 1 Hz (on tractors with instrument board
with molded panel, pilot annunciator lamp of parking brake engagement will activate in
blinking mode with the frequency of 1 Hz on the integrated indicator); and the pilot lamp of
HSC emergency oil pressure will light up. The instrument board will light up the pilot lamp
of emergency oil pressure in the system of engine lubrication (and a buzzer will sound),
the pilot lamp of emergency air pressure in the pneumatic system (if it is below the permis-
sible minimum), pilot lamp of reserve volume in fuel tank (if the fuel in tanks in on reserve
volume).
3) Two seconds after shifting the starter and instrument switch key from position 0
into position I, the pilot annunciator lamp of heating plugs operation will light up on the pilot
lamp unit.
- after the pilot lamp of HP operation changes from the continuous glowing mode to
the blinking mode with a frequency of ≈ 1 Hz, start the engine by depressing the clutch pe-
dal and turning the key of the starter and instruments switch from position I (Instruments
ON) into position II (engine start). If HP activation is not required, turn the key of the starter
and instruments switch from position "I" (instruments are turned on) to position "II" (engine
start) within less than 2 seconds. In this case, the heating plugs do not turn on and the HP
pilot lamp does not light up.
- hold the key of the starter and instruments switch until the engine starts up, but
not longer than for 15...20 seconds; if the engine has not started up, perform another start-
up not sooner than after one minute;
- after the engine has started, release the clutch pedal, check the operation of all
pilot lamps and readings of the instruments (coolant temperature, oil pressure in the en-
gine, battery charge, etc.). After the pilot lamp of emergency oil pressure in the engine
goes out, the buzzer will turn off. Let the engine run at 100050 rpm until the pressure sta-
bilizes in the operating range.
- adjust, if necessary, the position of water radiator shutter for maintaining normal
temperature mode.
