Injector 14 (figure 3.1.2) is designed for injection of fuel into the engine cylinder. It en-
sures necessary fuel atomization and limits beginning and end of the supply.
Coarse fuel filter 2 serves for preliminary purification of fuel from mechanical impuri-
ties and water. The coarse fuel filter consists of the housing, deflector with screen, diffuser,
bowl with stabilizer. Drain of sediment from the filter is carried out through the hole in the
lower part of the bowl, which is closed with a plug.
Fine fuel filter 7 serves for final purification of fuel. Fine fuel filter has replacement
filter element. While passing through the shutters of the paper filter element fuel gets puri-
fied from mechanical impurities. In the lower part of the filter housing there is a hole with a
plug for drain of sediment. For air exhaust from the supply system there is a special plug
on the filter cover.
Air cleaner 8 serves for cleaning air, drawn into the cylinders. Detailed information
about composition and operation of intake duct of tractors "BELARUS-80.1/82.1/820" is
given in subsection 3.1.2 "Engine air cleaning system".
