For operation with trailed agricultural machines for the telescopic lower links the
double crossbar TСУ-1Zh-01 6 (figure 3.16.12) with pivot 7 is supplied upon request. In this
case its end pieces 5 are mounted instead of links rear ends 4 (the eyeloop is mounted on
the middle holes of end pieces 5 of the double crossbar). The distance from the end of the
PTO to the pivot (hitch point) in this complete set will equal to 470 mm. If necessary, this
distance can be adjusted stepwise in the range ± 80 mm from the middle position by means
of changing the telescopic links length.
Note – Basic parameters and characteristics of TСУ-1Zh-01 are represented in
subsection 3.17 "Tow hitches".
3.16.3 Mounting of implements on tractor
When mounting the implements on tractor make sure, that there is no one in the area
where the implement is mounted. By means of the RLL control elements lower the lower
links in required position and connect the hinges of the lower inks to the implement, and
then by means of the pin, the hinge of the upper link. To adjust the implement in the trans-
verse plane use the right lifting rod. Adjustment in the longitudinal plane for leveling the
depth of front and rear working bodies of the mounted implement ensure by changing the
length of the upper link, by rotating the tube of the link in the corresponding direction.
Carry out final adjustment of the machine in the field.
Before the start of work make sure that:
- tractor parts are not in dangerous proximity to the implement elements;
- the upper link does not touch the PTO guard when the implement is in the rear most
position;
- the cardan drive from the PTO is not too long, with big angles of hinges and there
are no separating forces;
- the PTO guard does not touch the cardan drive guard of the machine;
- slowly raise the implement and check for clearances between the tractor and the
implement in lifted position;
- check for the required lateral swinging of the lower links and if necessary, adjust by
means of the buckles.
CAUTION: SOME MOUNTED OR SEMI-MOUNTED EQUIPMENT CAN TOUCH
THE CABIN AND DAMAGE IT. IT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE CABIN GLASSES
AND INJURY OF THE OPERATOR. CHECK FOR SUFFICIENT CLEARANCE (NOT
LESS 100 MM) BETWEEN THE IMPLEMENT LIFTED IN THE UPPER POSITION AND
THE OPERATOR CABIN!
Mount the machines (implements) on tractor by means of the automatic hitch CA-1,
connected to the tractor lift linkage in three points (two rear hinges of the lower links and
rear hinge of the upper link).
