- after adjustment tighten locknut 2 of adjusting bolt 3.
If the tractor is equipped with trailer brakes pneumatic control system, carry out con-
trol of the parking brake in the following way:
- set parking brake lever 1 (figure 3.7.6) in the front position (away from yourself);
- loosen tightening of locknut 3 of adjusting bolt 3, as well as locknut 6 of link 5 and
take out pin 8;
- turn lever 4 and align upper edge of lever 9 slot with upper edge of lever 10 slot of
the right brake pedal, and then rotating fork 7, align holes of lever 4 and fork 7 and insert
pin 8 and forelock it.
- unscrew and screw adjusting bolt 3 so that, when shifting parking brake control
lever 1 towards yourself with a force from 200 to 210 N latch retains in the third or fourth
tooth space of sector "A" for dry friction brakes (which corresponds to the third or fourth
click when engaging the parking brake) or on the second or third tooth of sector "A" for wet
brakes (which corresponds to the second and third click when engaging the parking
brake);
- after adjustment tighten locknut 2 of adjusting bolt 3 and locknut 6 of link 5.
Carry out final check and adjustment of the parking brake on assembled tractor.
The tractor should be kept on a slope for not less than 18% when a force not more than
400 N is applied to parking brake control lever 1. If required correct the adjustment by
means of adjusting bolt 3.
