2.17 Control elements of RLL and hydraulic hook grips or lowering link with
draft control

2.17.1 Rear lift linkage control

On tractors "BELARUS-80.1/82.1/820" draft control is installed, which provides the
possibility of draft, position and depth control of agricultural implements position.
Operating elements of the draft control, which provides the possibility of draft, posi-
tion, and depth control of agricultural implements position, are shown in figure 2.17.1

Draft control is operated by handle 2 (figure 2.17.1). The control method is preset -
– draft, position or depth.
Handle 2 has the following positions:
- "N" – "Neutral" (fixed position);
- "Lifting" – the rear most position (non-fixed). Hold the handle by hand until the imple-
ment is lifted to the desired height. After you release the handle it returns to "Neutral";
- "Positive lowering" – the front most position (non-fixed). Hold the handle until the im-
plement is lowered to the desired degree. After you release the handle it returns to the end
of the control area (intermediate "Neutral").
- "Automatic control range" (control area) – between position "Neutral" and "Lowering".
Start of the implement lowering corresponds to the beginning of the control area (digit "1"
on the console – minimum tilling depth). End of control area corresponds to the maximum
tilling depth (digit "7" on the console).
To switch draft, position, and depth control use switch 3. To access the switch remove
cover 5, loosen the bolt and turn the plate. The switch has the following positions:
- "N" – Off (depth control);
- "II" – Draft control;
- "I" – Position control.
ATTENTION: BEFORE YOU SET THE SWITCH TO THE DESIRED POSITION RAISE
THE RLL IN THE UPPER MOST POSITION!
