5.3 Three-point rear lift linkage

ATTENTION: BEFORE GETTING OFF THE TRACTOR FOR ANY TIME ALWAYS
LOWER DOWN THE MOUNTED IMPLEMENT TO THE GROUND!
ATTENTION: THE VALUE OF MAXIMUM LOAD CAPACITY OF THE LIFT LINK-
AGE ON THE SUSPENSION AXIS DETERMINES TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF
SUCH LINKAGE, AND NOT THE PERMISSIBLE WEIGHT OF MOUNTED IMPLEMENTS
COUPLED TO IT. PERMISSIBLE WEIGHT OF THE MOUNTED IMPLEMENT DEPENDS
ON THE OVERHANG OF CENTER OF MASS OF THE IMPLEMENT IN RELATION TO
THE SUSPENSION AXIS, AND IS LIMITED BY PERMISSIBLE LOADS ON THE TRAC-
TOR AND CONTROLLABILITY CRITERION!
RLL complies with the requirements of ISO 4254-3.
Three-point rear lift linkage of BEARUS-80.1/82.1/820 tractors is made according to
State Standard GOST 10677 and ISO 730. Basic parameters of RLL, specified in Table
5.3.1 and in figure 5.3.1, are given with standard rear tyres (15.5R38 – either single or
twinned on tractors BELARUS-80.1/82.1 and 18.4R34(F11) – either single or twinned on
tractors BELARUS-820) and with standard static radii, specified by the manufacturer.
Rear lift linkage consists of three links (upper link and two lower links) with their
front ends connected to the tractor by means of articulated hinged joints, and with their
rear free ends having articulated hinged joints for the purpose of attaching to the connect-
ing pins of the implements coupled. RLL is designed for connection of implements for tail
positioning to a tractor, for transfer of traction power during operation and adjustment of
their position during operation, or run at transport position. RLL provides for coupling of the
following types of machines and implements:
- mounted implement fixed in three points (upper link and lower links);
- semi-mounted (lower links);
- semi-trailed with a crossbar to the suspension axis of lower links.
ATTENTION: IT IS ALLOWED TO MOUNT A CROSS BAR OR TRAILING SUS-
PENSION AXIS, BEING THE PART OF IMPLEMENT'S SET, TO THE ENDS OF LOWER
LINKS OF REAR LIFT LINKAGE, FOR COUPLING OF SEMI-MOUNTED, SEMI-TRAILED
AND TRAILED AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENTS FOR FULFILLMENT OF DIFFERENT
WORKS WHEN SPEED DOES NOT EXCEED 15 KM/H,!
Sizes and structure of RLL of tractors BELARUS-80.1/82.1/820 make it possible to
couple all implements that have matching dimensions of attachment elements of connec-
tion triangle shown in RLL diagram.
Rear lift linkage diagram of type LL-1 ("NU-1") of tractors BELARUS-80.1/82.1/820
is shown in figure 5.3.1.
For protection of coupled implements from rocking, length-adjustable limiting rods
are used.
To ensure the implement is in the right position the following adjustments of RLL by
means of upper link, lifting rods and limiting buckles are provided in vertical and horizontal
planes:
